Bronze kids make great playmates!

A few weeks ago Kenny, Aiden and I went to the local library to get ourselves library cards, and check out the books they had (not literally, we were not going to check out all of the books they had and take them home). Aiden, as some know, is not fond of being quiet, or still, which is exactly what a library is all about. So, while Kenny browsed the books for hunting tips on exactly how to corner and skillfully shoot a turkey, Aiden and I went outside to roam. We found a nice little bronze family sitting on the bench out front, and while the momma freaked him out a little, this little girl quickly became his friend and he gave her luvs, and kisses,

And he tried as hard as he could do make her honk when he squeezed her nose, but when she wouldn't, he gave up and went to find better things to do.

Like this.

There is a little park next to the library and they have these little water pumps lined up all in a row for kids to try out, just like their grandparents did in the olden days. Now, in this picture you can't see his cute face as well, but you can see just how hard he is working to get water to come forth out of that spout. He sat there and pumped as hard and fast as he could for about ten minutes and never did get any water to flow. Kenny tried it out just to make sure it really worked, he pumped it three times and water came pouring out. I guess by boy's skinny little muscles still need some work.

My favorite picture is of Aiden honking that little girl's nose. What a cute kid!

He is super cute! Who needs to buy toys when you can find all the other free or cheap things to play with...like a box or a bronze statue.
