Picking pumpkins

Thursday we spent the day together, as Kenny now has some extra "free time". We headed out to get some pumpkins, since it is Fall now, and Halloween is just around the corner. There is this little farm in the area that has a pumpkin patch that you can pick your own pumpkin from, and we are all about the experiences.
They also have a little "petting farm" and since you pay for the whole farm experience, we took advantage. Aiden loved seeing the animals, but from a distance. He was pretty hesitant about touching any of the animals, in fact, the little pony was the only one he would touch.
Aiden wasn't convinced that this big, ugly mean thing was actually a pig. He was pretty cautious about him, especially after it snorted at him.

They had some friendly neighborhood visitors known as squash beetles, and Aiden is not a big fan of bugs. He is downright freaked out by bugs of any kind.

Does he look a little paranoid to anybody else?

We ended up getting a couple of cute pumpkins, Aiden getting his own "my size"pumpkin that he picked out all by himself. It only cost him a dollar from his college fund.

Oh how fun! I wish there was somewhere here we could go do that. He does look a little scared, but always so cute!
