My mom has this huge picture of a mom and baby, and all around it she has sweet little photos of us girls (Kimbrey, Michelle and I) with our babies. Kind of a mom/baby wall. The one of Aiden and I is quite outdated, and there hasn't been a cute photo of just the two of us in quite a while so my mom wanted to set up a photo shoot while we were down to update her wall. Talk about an undertaking!
Aiden has this slight obsession over my mom, and when we are around her, she is all he thinks about and can't handle being away from her for more than a few minutes. Unless he is going to see Al and Jake with grampa. But if I am around, forget it. He won't leave her arms at all.
So to get these photos, we set everything up, and then my mom went to where he couldn't see her (which didn't work at all) and we tried to set up this cute pose she had seen on the internet. we should have foreseen the trouble this would be!
This is me waiting for Aiden. Kimbrey took these pictures, thanks Kim! She was getting all of her settings put together so that when Aiden came over she wouldn't have to mess around, we knew we would have to be quick.
This is the attempt at the cute pose that my mom saw in the internet. As you can see, it didn't even come close to working.
This is the cute shot we got after about 35 minutes of trying. Kimbrey has rapid fire on her camera, and she just shot away hoping to get a good one. She took about 100 shots, and in those there are about fifteen where we are both sitting still and smiling at the same time.
And how did we get Aiden to finally sit still for the photo shoot you ask? Simple! See the little bunny on my lap? We just got one of my dad's rabbits and sat it on our lap, and blam-o. We got a photo of the two of us together!

Oh, he is such a doll! Even if he doesn't pose so well. He's just way too busy for photos! Nathan can't stop talking about how much fun it was with him!
Let me know when you are going to head back to Moab for the hike...we are totally going to come!

I can't believe how cute he is! That picture of you and him turned out way cute. I feel your pain,we did family pictures a few weeks ago and after 200 pictures taken I think only one turned out, its hard to get those little ones to hold still.
That expression on your face while you are waiting for Aiden is priceless! And I now have a really cute recent picture of Aiden and his mom on my mom/baby wall. Next up, a more recent one of Michelle and Porter!!
What a cute little boy (and mom). Like Cassie said, we are threw doing pictures until the kids learn to sit still! Maybe your mom or Kimbrey will have to take our next family picture!
