volleyball: water balloon and regular.

There is a Girl's Camp just down the hill from our cabin, and if it's not being used by girls, we sometimes go down and hang out. There is a little amphitheater that we sometimes use for our "family talent show", and a volleyball court that we used this time, for playing volleyball.

The plan was to play water balloon volleyball, but while the water balloon were being filled, we played a little regular volleyball. Luckily someone had thought to bring a ball!

Aiden looks forward to playing with his cousin Kaejha all year,

 and they were inseparable the whole time we were up there.

Kaejha was my favorite person to photograph playing volleyball, because look! I love this picture above. It cracks me up every time. Everybody's just standing around, and there's Kaejha giving it her all :)

Capri just ran around the court the whole time, oblivious to the fact that there was a ball flying around. Pretty incredibly she didn't ever get hit. She did get run over a few times, but it didn't stop her.

This first volleyball game was more of a kids game, because some of the adults

(cough, cough, JAY)
hadn't made it down the hill yet.

These kids were smart enough to play more toward the edge of the volleyball court,

with grandma near by.

And finally we had a few water balloons to start water balloon volleyball.

With these little kids flinging them around though, they didn't last long :)

They were usually popped shortly after being "served".

After a little while, when we had a stockpile of balloons, my mom forced me to put my camera down to play, which was fun. But it's her fault I didn't get any pictures of the actual water balloon volleyball game. It was awesome though.

After we ran out of balloons, and the kids were tired of playing volleyball, they took off and the adults and older kids played regular volleyball again for a while. I played for while, and totally rocked it, but to give everyone else a chance, I decided to pick up my camera and leave the game.

All the kids were fighting over the last of the water balloons.

Capri finally got her hands on one, and not surprisingly, it was popped pretty quickly.

When I went back to check on the game, I was shocked to find they weren't missing my skills at all.

Out of nowhere, Aiden brought me a bundle of wildflowers. Sweetest boy ever, right here.

Definitely a fun couple of hours playing!
