We left bright and early in the morning, and headed for California. We got to Anaheim at around 2:30 and checked into the hotel, then we all headed together over to Disneyland. We had been planning this trip pretty much since Uncle Garrett opened his call to Riverside California, because hey, Disneyland is in California, and we love to go there! Aiden had a list of things he wanted to do first. 1. Splash Mountain. He's been waiting since we left almost two years ago to go on Splash mountain again, so that was first priority. 2. See Minnie. 3. Ride Casey Jr.
Capri obviously had no agenda for Disneyland, for her it was all about here and now.

Right here, she's being held and entertained. So, she's happy.
Here, she's been stuffed into a stroller and forced to entertain herself. So she's mad. This was how her trip went. She was either awake and being carried, or asleep in the stroller. And as long as she was taken care of, she was a fairly happy girl.

Here's the whole family. Me, Kenny, Aiden and Capri, Kent and Suzy (Kenny's mom and dad), Garrett (the brand new returned missionary), Karrina, Brittney and Clint and their little girl Kaitlynn.
First thing, we headed for Splash Mountain to get our fast pass tickets. While we waited for our turn to ride the ride, we all went on the Pirate's of the Carribean ride, then we took Aiden to climb on and around Tarzan's tree house.

The shake shake bridge. We kept having to wait for people to pass us by, because he wanted to be on the shake shake bridge all by himself. I'm sure you can guess why.

When it came time to do so, we headed to Splash Mountain (if you need a visual, refer back to the video. I have no photos of Splash Mountain) to ride (Kenny, Aiden and I rode it the first day along with Garrett, Karrina and Clint) and we all got very wet, which usually isn't so bad, except it then proceeded to get a little chilly. We took Aiden to the Tiki Room next with Brittney and Kaitlynn, and then when that was done we went to Toon Town to see Mickey. Luckily he was still there, and we walked right back to him, yay! It's usually like a 45 minute wait to see him at his house. Minnie wasn't home though, bummer. After that it was getting cold, and we weren't really prepared for that. We were tired and hungry, so we went and ate and then ran through the rain to catch the bus to take us back to the hotel. We had a good nights sleep that night, and prepared ourselves for a very long day ahead.
