family time fun

A couple of weeks ago...

We took the kids to the community center to swim, because we had a free one day pass.

And like every time we go, within five minutes of our arrival and entering the pool, they close the pool and make everybody wait to get back in for half an hour. So, we hung out for a little bit before we got to have all the fun.





Capri is not a huge fan of the pool yet. She loves bath water, but taking her into cool water (it is a heated indoor pool, but still, not warm bath water) seems to be like torture for her. We're working on it. But she was just a little relieved that shortly after we got in the water, we had to get back out and snuggle in warm towels for a while.



Aiden on the other hand, was dying to get back into the water.

Poor Capri. It was kind of a weird day hair wise and swimsuit wise. I still can't decide if her hair is more on the cute side, or the weird side. I've never seen Star Trek, but it kind of makes me think of that...

Capri finally found something she loved to do, and had a lot of fun doing it. The pool is just not good at all. But these little holes that shoot water out of the ground, awesome!! She spent the rest of the time right here. Splashing in the water.

Aiden had to show me how he jumps in from the side, and since he was all decked out in his life jacket, he didn't need me to catch him.

Don't panic, he does this every time he gets water in his eyes.
