an escapade

This was a couple weeks ago... My parents came to visit for a couple of days, so we got together with them, and Kyle and his kids, and hung out. It was rainy most of the day, but there was a little bit of time between when the rain stopped, and when it got dark. So, we went on a little adventure up this gorgeous little canyon right by Kyle's house.

It was kinda cold, but we had fun!

This is Porter. He was pointing at something. I never did figure out what.

And Aiden, of course. He walked pretty much the whole time...a miracle. When Gramma is around, he usually likes to be carried.

He's handsome.

And this...

...is Bridger. He has an unconventional way of hiking. Instead of simply walking down this rock, like the rest of us did, he saw an opportunity to slide. Not only did he slide down the muddy rock, he slid face first on his belly. And in doing so, coated his whole front in mud. He's such a cutie!

And lastly, this little face. She was a trooper. We had her bundled up in a blanket, which she's not super fond of, but she was warm and happy. Lately most of my pictures of her have her tongue sticking out like this. She's so funny.

We had so much fun.
