Two. And all that it implies

Aiden had his second birthday today. We didn't make a huge deal of it like we did for his first, but we wanted to at least make the day more special than a regular day. We got Aiden this adorable little bike about a month ago, and he has ridden it a couple of times before today, but he officially received it today as our present to him. He loves it, but can't really handle to pedals.
He had a couple of presents to open from grandparents, the ones he hasn't opened yet (One grandma paid for his quilt to be quilted for his birthday present, and he opened her other gift to him last weekend when they were here.)

Then he blew out his candles which, by this year, he was a pro at. He even insisted that we relight the candles a couple of times so that he could blow them out over and over again.
We gave him his cake first, and he wasn't quite sure how to handle it at first.

But then he just dove right in.
So then we handed him his fork and then he knew exactly what to do.
And the cake was successfully demolished in no time.
He had a great day.
