The Garden. Every year we have one. This is the third year, and we are hoping this will be a more prosperous year for our garden. The first year, we were overly ambitious. We planted ALL this stuff, and the only thing that we "harvested" were radishes and a little cilantro. And like three tomatoes. The second year, we simplified, and planted a "salsa" garden. We planted tomatoes, onions and peppers. We did get a few tomatoes, and like two peppers, but that was it. Dud. This year, we are optimistic. We've got tomatoes (gotta have tomatoes), romaine lettuce, and broccoli in the big box, and strawberries in the little ceramic pot. So far, things are looking great. We'll see how it goes when it starts to get really hot.Tuesday, April 19, 2011
see how our garden grows
